Holistic Face Massage – Tool Use
Course Descriptions:
A one-day, hands on course focused how to incorporate tools into your upper body massage on the décolleté, shoulders, neck, face & scalp. The hands on will explain how to choose tools based on the clients needs/goals and how to perform a routine that offers results to include but not limited: relaxation, centering, flushing, lymphatic stimulation & utilizing gua sha stones, multi-tools, kansa wands and scalp combs.
This is a learning retreat set in the picturesque Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa! With a private garden room, deck and fire pit exclusive to us. We will begin the day in the TOWER SPA outlook to gather for the day, begin lecture and transition to the garden room and outdoor patio for the hands on.
*Tool use is best AFTER hand massage, and the DAY PRIOR offers a complete day of intuitive massage. Its not mandatory however recommended for the best results. (If you’re looking for an advanced tool class view the calendar for August 2023)
Course Goals:
To understand the variety of tools, and when, where, why and how to best utilize them.
Hands on will expand tool use, technique, pressures, focal points and confidence behind goal orientated massage and tool selection.
Theory will explore a deeper understanding of the muscles, fascia and lymphatics to know how to best address and manipulate them towards your goals and history behind the tools.
Learning Objectives / Outcomes:
Learn more about your intake questions, how to select the best tool and products to support your goals, visual assessment, introduction and application of tools, palpation response, transitions, and a greater understanding of whole-body influences to increase results.
Leave with the ability to offer a holistic ‘Enhancement’ or ‘Add-On’ to your treatment menu.
We will cover tool origin, use & goals, mechanics, transitions, face safe topicals for enhanced results, and routines for Skin Balance, Depuffing & Sculpting Basics
Assessment Overview:
A demo will be offered with education, and then hands-on will include time to give AND receive within the day.
During the hands on, guided techniques from trainer, verbal assessment and model feedback will perfect the techniques.
